A brief hiatus
So, I’ve been in the process of rethinking the kinds of things I want to write about on Scaling Biotech, and whether there are other resources that would make sense added into the mix. (Perhaps a re-imagined Reference Stack.) But I’ve found it very hard to think about that while also writing a new post each week. So I’m going to take a month off to give it some deeper thought. I’ll send an update on April 16th.
For more context: Recently, I’ve been spending more of my time helping biotech software companies communicate what they do to potential customers, and less time working directly with biotechs teams. I actually enjoy this new kind of work quite a lot, so that’s good. But it means I get less direct experience to write about on here.
At the same time, the readers that I talk to seem to really like the newsletter, and my subscriber list keeps growing. So I want to find a way to keep writing it, probably by incorporating more perspectives from all the smart and often more experienced people I’ve met through the newsletter. I just need to figure out how to do that while preserving the things that I like, and that readers seem to like about the newsletter.
So that’s what I’ll be thinking about for the next few weeks. If you want to share any thoughts on what you like (or don’t like) about the newsletter, that would probably help me shape my thinking. To reach me you can reply to this newsletter, send me an email at jesse@merelogic.net or if we’re already connected some other way, reach out that way.
One way or another, I’ll figure something out. And I hope to be able to tell you about it in April.
