Since it's the time of year when you shouldn't be thinking about work, I'm taking a two-week break from the series about development principles. Instead, I wanted to quickly thank everyone who has read these posts, subscribed to the newsletter, forwarded one to a friend, sent a reply to one of the emails, or provided feedback through other means (both positive and critical). We made it to 300 subscribers this year, which I think is pretty good for a fairly niche and technical newsletter.
It’s incredibly encouraging, and as long as you all keep reading, I’ll keep writing.
My main goal this year was to shift from the more abstract and problem-focused posts that I started with to more concrete ideas and practical solutions. I think that the development principles I’ve been writing about are a good start, but I want to get even more specific and practical in the next year.
I’ve also got some other things in the works that I’m excited to tell you about when they’re ready. So stay tuned!
niche is good. concrete better. practical best.
enjoy the new year!
